Snorkelling the Blue Lagoon & Comino

• The Blue Lagoon rocks: swim to the edges of the channel and along the rocky sides for fish and clear sand.
• Cominotto: the islet opposite has bright shallows and fewer swimmers.

What you'll see

Expect shoals of bream and damselfish, the occasional octopus in the rocks, sea urchins, and light dancing over pale sand. It's not a coral reef — it's clear Mediterranean water — but for accessibility and clarity it's hard to beat.
